Crystal blazons are made on the base of the standard Samshield blazon, then stamped with Swarovski crystal fabric. The Swarovski crystal fabric creates a delicate shimmer through millions of tiny cut and uncut Swarovski crystals for a dazzling finish.

The inner shell is made of variable-density polystyrene to dissipate the energy produced on impact more effectively. All Samshield hats conform to the VG1 and ASTM 1163 SEI standard, which are accepted by British Showjumping, British Dressage, and British Eventing.
