Helmets should be stored at ambient temperature out of direct sunlight. Never leave Your hat in a hot car or in direct sunlight. This helmet is designed to absorb some of the energy of a blow by partial destruction of the shell or protective padding material or both. This damage may not be visible, and therefore, any helmet which suffers an impact should be discarded and replaced by a new one. Make no modifications to the helmet.
The removable headband can be handwashed and left to air dry. Keeping a riding helmet fresh through regular cleaning will prevent odours and mould developing inside the headband and ultimately prolong the life of Your helmet. It is important to use cleaning products that are specially formulated for use inside a riding helmet. This helmet should not be dry cleaned, exposed to solvents, or put in the washing machine or dishwasher.
